Ministries That Serve the Whole Person
The ministries of St. Paul Church of God in Christ are designed to strengthen the whole person: spiritually, personally, professionally, and communally. Our ministry work reflects a full-time commitment to serving the needs of the whole family.
Worship & Spiritual Life
St. Paul is a church grounded in worship, prayer, teaching, holiness, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through worship services, spiritual formation, and fellowship, St. Paul creates space for people to grow in faith and walk in purpose.
Family & Community Support
St. Paul’s ministry legacy includes care for children, youth, families, seniors, and community members in need. Public historical references connect St. Paul’s work to child care, after-school support, senior housing, and broader services that respond to the needs of families across the community.
Workforce & Training Ministry
Through St. Paul Community Development Ministries, the church extends its mission into career readiness and workforce opportunity. The SPCDM Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program is a 12-week program that helps participants prepare for aptitude tests and qualify for U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Programs in union careers.
Program supports include classroom instruction, hands-on industry training, job site tours, wrap-around services, case management, resume and interview coaching, personal and professional development, trade-specific mathematics, workplace safety, construction industry culture, and industry-recognized certifications including OSHA-10, First Aid, CPR, and TradesFutures MC3 curriculum.
